Hangman

During Daily 5 I was doing work on writing. Today we were playing Hangman.
I was doing my Mum's name and it was tricky to get because it was only 2 letters but hard to guess.
I like doing Daily 5 because you get to choose things and do all of the choices around the room.

Reading to Myself

I like reading to myself during Daily 5. Today I was reading a book called "The Gardener and the Scarecrow". When I come to a tricky word in the book I use stretchy snake to help me. So if you don't know a word, then you use your finger to cover part of it and you say "I know that word" then you say the bit you can see and then the other part. Then you put the word together.

Year 2 girls explore friendship and what it means to be inclusive.

Year 3 girls explore friendship and how words are like toothpaste. They can come spilling out but are hard to put back.
