Today we started our Friday Whanau Groups. We will be spending 20 minutes in our Whanau Groups every two weeks, after assembly. This week we focussed on writing. We shared some writing with each other and asked each other questions about our writing. It is really great to work with buddies across the school!

Whanau Day with Ximena and John
After a wonderful morning starting at the beach and watching the sunrise, we had a whānau group rotation. There were many activities like weaving, dance, art and making Māori musical instruments.

Afternoon Clubs

Club day was a success! We mixed up with seniors and juniors, new teachers and new spaces. Our club is the ICT and team building groups. We had to work together to cross the minefield and plan how we'd get off a deserted island. Watch this space for some videos explaining our strategies!
