Netball Challenge
This week we are learning netball skills. We have been learning how to catch and throw in different ways. We have learnt throwing over the rainbow, shoulder throw, chest throw and bounce pass. We have been learning to pass the ball carefully to a partner. When we catch the ball we make a W with our hands. This helps us to catch and also to protect our face. I am a Cicada
I am a Cicada
By Matilda
I am Cicada,
I lay eggs.
I can fly and I drop
from my nest immediately.
I have a male friend.
He has a drum on his
abdomen; this is how he found me.
My babies are called
nymphs.
I live underground
for 17 years and I only come out when it’s time to have babies.
