Earth 3 have been reading about Big foot and other explained mysteries. Their big foot posters include labels and a description of the beast.
Skype with Port Elliot Primary School
I have some more questions for the class:
Do you have writing time?
What animals do you have in your country?
Do you have a toy in the class?
How old are you when you start school?
When do you leave school?
It was good to meet the kids and look around their school.

Patterns.
Today we made some repeating patterns, like.... square, circle, square, circle, etc.
And we made a symmetrical pattern of a chicken, doing the same drawing on the other side of the grid paper.
And we did some number patterns, adding or subtracting numbers.

Planting Experiments
As part of our Inquiry about change and growing we have planted some beans. We are going to test whetether they will grow in different conditions. Last week we brainstormed where we will put the plants and what we will provide them with. Our students can find out more about planting and growing here: https://sites.google.com/a/worserbay.school.nz/matarikiwbs/plants-and-growing
We're excited to see what will happen. Watch this space!
