Plastic Free Peninsula Logo Design






Today we started to design a logo for the Plastic Free Peninsula project. We needed to keep our drawings simple and without any colour.
Matariki Stars
Today we made some stars for Matariki. We had to follow instructions about folding and glueing.
Have a look at them on the windows.
Tomorrow we are going to try to write instructions to explain how we made them.

Sustainable Coastline Visit

Te Kawa and Oliver from Sustainable Coastlines came into school today to talk about coastlines and waterways. They explained how we can keep the waterways clean. They also said why we shouldn't cut trees and why we should plant new trees .

The Owl and Pussycat Art
Nicola's base group watched the Owl and the Pussycat today and they were able to choose whether they wanted to do an Owl or a Pussy Cat. They drew their choice with
Giraffes can't dance...art
We read the story Giraffes can't dance and tried to dance like giraffes then we create some art out of watercolours , pencils and oil pastels. One thing we tried to do was change something about the giraffe... here are some of our art work.
