Tautoru Reading Workshop
Have a look at the WBS Library Website website for some ideas for books to read with or to your child. We're going to put together a list of books with the students that they enjoy and will share it on the blog shortly.
Read the News, ask questions and talk about what is happening in the world. A great site for kids is Kiwi Kids News Site
Here is the presentation that we shared:
Stuck in the Mud Soccer
| This is Autahi and Tautoru with our coaches |
Today we played stuck in the mud. We started with the normal version and then we played with the ball. We played with the ball to make it harder and learn how to control it. We had to try and try again. After playing stuck in the mud, we played a soccer game. A big thank you to our coaches Col and Saul.

Teddy Bear Picnic this Friday
We are going to have a teddy bear's picnic on Friday 15th April. We will have the picnic at the beach. We will leave school at 11. 40 and get back to school approximately at 1.40.
We will need:
- Walking shoes
- A soft toy
- A drink bottle
- Lunch
- A Sun hat
The teachers will make sure that those who have ordered sushi will get theirs.
If mums and dads would like to bring their own teddies that would be fantastic. Please let the teachers know if you can help on the day.
Thanks,
From Tautoru Kids
