Beach trip: Rock Pools

I found a piece of paua shell

I found a starfish

These are 3 hermit crabs in different shells

This is a sea anemone

Today we went on a trip to the beach. We had a look in the rock pools. We are learning about rock pools for our inquiry. At the beach we found all sorts of different creatures. We found sea anemones, mussels, cockabullys, starfish and seaweed. We saw all types of colours we also found a whole lot of barnacles.

Planning our own trips... Our visit to the rock pools

We are searching around in Princess Bay

 Our group planned our own trip. We wanted to go to the rock pools at Princess Bay and Breaker Bay. We went there because we are thinking about the rocky shore in our inquiry. We saw fish and seaweed. We saw seaweed that looked a bit like a seahorse.

Our seasons art

We are learning about change. We know that some tress change in the different seasons. Here is some of our seasons art: 

This is a tree that has snow, blossoms, red flowers and leaves falling when the seasons change.

One season is very close and that is autumn because it's the end of summer.

My painting shows fall, winter, spring and summer during the seasons.
