Heaphy Track - Walking Group
Dear Parents & Caregivers,
In Tautoru there is a group of kids learning about one of the great walks - The Heaphy Track...and entering a competition. We will also be looking/tracking any local walks that we walk during school time and at the weekend.
If you would like to read more about this please visit this website: http://www.doc.govt.nz/getting-involved/events-and-awards/virtual-great-walker/heaphy-track/
Here they are...and they are excited...
Please ensure that your child is wearing walking shoes each day in case we go on a small walk during school time.
Later on this term we will be planning a longer walk around the peninsula and will require parent help...we will keep you posted on this and when it will be.
HAPPY WALKING EVERYONE!

The Summer Breeze
The birds chirping and cicadas talking.
The sky was blue.
The smell of the air blowing past me.
