Children's Garden Feedback
Message from Anneke from the Wellington City Council:
Thanks for coming to visit us at the gardens-what a fantastic bunch of students Worser Bay has. I hope the rest of the afternoon went well. I was just wondering if your students would be interested in sharing their thoughts on the characters we are designing for the Children’s Garden. I have attached the images- there’s one for each pillar; food, fibre , medicine and construction- the main uses of plants we will be looking at in the Children’s Garden.

On Friday we did our last Spanish lesson. Maria and Nicola were very impressed with all of the learning that has happened this year. We have also been impressed that Spanish has been a choice for you and you all come back every week.
If you would like to access some of the songs that we have been singing you can access them here: Spanish Songs
Thank you Maria for all of your hard work and time. We have loved your lessons.

Workshops
Thomas's workshop was all about drawing characters. |
Today children from Tautoru organised and ran workshops.
There was a lot of interest from all the children to join or host a workshop.
Each workshop was lots of fun and very creative! Everyone had a great time.
The children running a workshop showed excellent leadership skills.
Cooper and Theo ran a workshop on how to graffiti write. |
At Gina's workshop we were learning to make our own necklaces. |
Solly's workshop on how to make a catapult was very popular. |
Georgina taught her group how to draw Pokemon characters. |
Tommy ran a workshop on how to draw Avengers characters. |
Edward lead his group in making games. |
Yoshi's workshop was all about making paper planes. |
